Sad and frustrated.

Can there really be something that makes you sad and frustrated? YES!! Heck yes! I haven’t had my coffee YES!!!

I can look around, travel all over the United States and see one thing in common that really saddens me. Easter is less than 2 weeks away. All around the world Christ followers will gather and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Nothing is really different than any other Sunday really. We gather on Sundays to do that very thing. We gather on Sundays to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus in May, June, July, ect.

Here it is. HERE IS MY SADNESS AND FRUSTRATION: there is no question that I don’t fit in the “normal” category. Whatever the “normal” category is. People usually want to question why we do things the way we do, want to correct me into believing just like they do. (It doesn’t really work) Here is what saddens me and frustrates me. When I ask people who come to “set me straight” how they are making disciples, sharing their faith and loving people that look/act differently than them, it usually gets quite. I mean like over 90% bow their heads in shame. They may know the right things to say but lack action!

Don’t be one of these people. Jesus cares way more than your head knowledge. He died for way more than your head knowledge. If we REALLY believe that Jesus was raised form the dead, that CHANGES EVERYTHING!!! Don’t be a religious jerk. Religious jerks killed Jesus. Love people, share the truth about Jesus and make disciples. If we believe we have the cure for cancer, it would be so sad and mean to keep that to ourselves. We have the GREATEST news that ever existed. Jesus died for sinful people because He loves them. Let the whole world know!

James 2:26 – For just as the body without the spirit is dead,                                                          so also faith without works is dead.

Matthew 28:18–20 Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember,I am with you always,to the end of the age.”

Friends don’t let friends be religious jerks!
